Associate Professor
Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine
Biochemistry & Cell Biology

PhD, Brandeis University
BS, Antioch College

Keith Tornheim, PhD, began his career at the Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine in 1981 as an assistant professor. Since then he has published over fifty articles, mainly on the topic of metabolism. He originally studied spontaneous oscillatory behavior of glycolysis in muscle extracts. Dr. Tornheim is currently in the Biochemistry teaching mission, teaching metabolism to first-year medical, dental and graduate students.
