Carlos Perea-Resa, PhD
Research Scientist and Instructor
Boston University
Biochemistry & Cell Biology
Cell and Molecular Biology Program

I am a Research Scientist at the Biochemistry Department and Instructor of Medicine at Boston University with former experience as a Research Fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital-Harvard Medical School. My research experience span transcription regulation, RNA biology and cell cycle, all aimed to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying gene expression reprogramming during development and response to stress. I am devoted to understanding mitotic-associated gene expression rewiring to drive innovation in developmental-related disease and improve public health.
