 Research Expertise & Professional Interests
Sarah R. Preis, ScD is a Research Associate Professor of Biostatistics at the Boston University School of Public Health. Her research efforts focus on the epidemiology of stroke and dementia within the Framingham Heart Study Cohorts. She provides statistical support to the neurology research group at Boston Medical Center. In addition, she has collaborated with several investigators from the Framingham Heart Study on various projects involving diabetes, novel measures of obesity, and coronary artery calcification. Sarah has a ScD in epidemiology from the Harvard School of Public Health and a MPH in epidemiology from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University. She joined the faculty at Boston University after completing a NHLBI postdoctoral research fellowship at the Framingham Heart Study.
