As a training program director for Allergy & Immunology and a faculty member in Pulmonary, Allergy, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine, I have mentored over 35 Allergy-Immunology and Pulmonary-Critical Care trainees as well as other residents and students, in areas of career development, publications, thesis preparation, and career-life balance. I received the Robert Dawson Evans Department of Medicine Teaching Award in 2004, and throughout my career I have enjoyed teaching and mentoring junior faculty, fellows, residents, and medical students and helping them to clarify and achieve their aspirations.
