In particular, Dr. Jaberi focused on understanding the molecular events that occur during ischemic-reperfusion injury and podocyte injury. Following her training in laboratory research, Dr. Jaberi pursued a clinical and research nephrology fellowship at Boston University. An accomplished educator and clinician, Dr. Jaberi was the recipient of the 2020 Sub-specialty Teaching Award from BMC’s Internal Medicine Residency program and the 2021 Clinical Excellence Award from the Boston University Medical Group.
