 Research Expertise & Professional Interests
My work is focused on understanding airway gene expression as it relates to exposure. These exposures include small molecule therapeutics, tobacco cigarette smoke and electronic cigarettes. My current projects are looking at using high throughput genomics to better understand the impact of these exposures and how they relate to lung diseases such as lung cancer and COPD. Furthermore, I am interested in understanding how lung cells respond to exposure, in particular the airway immune response.
