Yiqun’s postdoctoral research focused on the use of computational methods, including quantum mechanical methodology and molecular dynamics (MD) simulations, to study the fragmentation behavior of biomolecules, especially metal-bound oligosaccharides, by electron activated dissociation (ExD) methods. He has also carried out theoretical modeling to aid the ion mobility spectrometry (IMS)-MS analysis of biomolecules, particularly for isomer differentiation.
