Lucas Pereira is a certified genetic counselor in the Cancer Center and Amyloidosis Center of Boston Medical Center as well as an Assistant Professor at Boston University Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine. Lucas completed his Bachelor of Arts in Biology at the University of Utah and his Master of Genetic Counselor Studies at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Their clinical interests include hereditary cancer predisposition syndromes, hereditary amyloidosis, and pharmacogenomics. His research interests include health equity for underserved patients in genetic counseling, pharmacogenomics, and cancer genetics.
