I am a clinician-scientist trained in geriatrics, rheumatology and epidemiology. My longterm goal is to improve lives of elders with OA. My research focus lies at the intersection of aging and rheumatology. Specifically, I am interested in understanding mechanisms leading to development of age-related joint (osteoarthritis), muscle (sarcopenia) and bone (osteoporosis) impairment.
