I am a generalist in the field of OB/Gyn with skill in clinical teaching, mentoring of residents and students and experience in medical education.
My clinical responsibilities are on Labor and Delivery, in Family Planning and Inpatient Gynecology.
My public health interests include disparities and minority health policy and the development of minority medical students, residents and faculty with a focus on recruitment adn retention.
I serve as an Assistant Dean in the Diversity and Inclusion Office at BUSM, where I support and oversee the Diversity and Inclusion Fellow. In addition, I collaborate with the Director of the Early Medical School Selection program to provide a curriculum that supports the social, emotional and professional development of the program participants while building a strong sense of cohort and community. I value adn enjoy mentoring students, residents and faculty, especially those from groups historically underrepresented in medicine.
