Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility

Promoting Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging, and Uniqueness in Diagnostic Radiology:

Given that diagnostic radiology continues to be a male-dominated specialty, I have been committed to diversity, equity and inclusion for my entire career. Over the past 25 years, I have mentored numerous women and traditionally underrepresented groups in radiology as a means to diversify the field. I have also been fortunate to sponsor many for leadership positions given my current roles in several national organizations. My research and state-wide advocacy work has also provided other venues by which I am able to promote DEIA activities. Finally, it is an honor to serve the patient population at Boston University Medical Center -- by providing exceptional care daily, I live by these same principles every day.
