Psychological and Brain Sciences

PhD, Harvard University
BSc, University of London

As the director of the Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience lab, Dr. Tager-Flusberg oversees all the main activities of its research programs. She has long-standing interests in language and social-cognitive development in a number of different populations, especially autism, Williams syndrome, and developmental language disorders. More recently, her research has explored the connections among genes, brain pathology and cognitive/behavioral impairments in people with these disorders at different ages. Her work is supported by grants from the National Institutes of Health and private foundations. She has edited several books, published many articles and chapters, and serves on the editorial boards of a number of professional journals.
