Dr. Neri completed her pediatric residency and chief residency at the UMass Chan Medical School in Worcester, MA. She then completed her fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC and obtained a Master in Public Health from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. After completion of training, Dr. Neri joined the faculty at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine and Boston Medical Center in the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. She focuses her clinical work in the care of children and adolescents with sickle cell disease, among other hematologic conditions. In addition, she is the founder and medical director of the interdisciplinary Pediatric Pain Clinic at Boston Medical Center. She is a leader in bridging disciplines including pediatric specialty care, along with behavioral health and integrative interventions to optimize wellness for children with painful conditions. Dr. Neri is active in pre-clerkship medical education at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian school of Medicine. She assumed leadership of the Hematology Module in 2020 and assisted with the curriculum re-design from 2020-2022. She currently serves as the Co-course Director for Principles Integrating Science Clinical Medicine and Equity (PISCEs).
