Astha Singhal, BDS, MPH, PhD is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in Health Policy & Health Services Research at the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Singhal completed her dental school from Manipal University, India, and received her MPH from SUNY Albany. She did her residency in dental public health at the NIDCR, NIH, and received her PhD in health services research from the University of Iowa.

Dr. Singhal's research focuses on access to dental care among the vulnerable populations, examining the impact of health policies on access and oral health disparities. Her work has been recognized by several organizations including the IADR with the Aubrey Sheiham Award for Distinguished Research in Dental Public Health Sciences, APHA with Anthony W. Jong award, and AAPHD with Leverett Award for outstanding achievement in dental public health.
