Zea Navazio is an advanced practice provider in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Boston Medical Center and is dual-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) and Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP-C).

She began her career as a registered nurse in the Parkland Emergency Department in Dallas, TX, where she worked for six years. After earning her master’s degree, Zea completed a competitive Emergency Medicine Fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center, gaining advanced clinical and didactic training.

Following her fellowship, she joined UT Southwestern as a full-time clinician and became Director of the Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship Program, where she expanded its offerings and mentored nurse practitioner and physician assistant fellows.

Zea is passionate about post-graduate education for advanced practice providers and advancing emergency medicine through mentorship and training.
