Xuan Anita He, PhD
Assistant Professor
Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine
Anesthesiology

My research career has been driven by a commitment to bridging knowledge gaps in biomedical science with the hope of ultimately advancing clinical care. My doctoral work on identifying the genetic risks of nonsyndromic craniosynostosis demonstrated a model that links human genetic data from association studies to functional biological processes. I then transitioned into clinical research, where I currently work as a research project manager and assistant professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at Boston Medical Center. My long-term goal is to facilitate research operations and drive research progress, directly contributing to disease treatment and patient care.
