Tanya Whitworth, PhD
Postdoctoral Associate (previously held)
Boston University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences
Center for Innovation in Social Science

Dr. Whitworth studies health, education, sexuality, and families using demographic methods. Most of her projects involve statistical analysis of survey data. She takes a life course perspective in her research, and is particularly interested in intergenerational relationships.

She has ongoing collaborative research projects in three areas: (1) the support college students give to and get from their families; (2) social networks, academic success, and well-being in law school; and (3) marriage and later-life health outcomes.
