Stephanie Corrado, MD is a board-certified internal medicine physician with a subspecialty in adolescent and young adult medicine. She earned her medical degree from Rush Medical College, completed her internal medicine residency at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, and fellowship training at Boston Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Corrado’s clinical interests include women’s health, preventive medicine, gynecology, menopause, obesity, eating disorders, and mind-body medicine. From 2012 to 2015, she served at the Benson-Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital, where she developed expertise in stress physiology and the relaxation response.

She currently practices at VA Boston Healthcare System, where she serves as a primary care physician and Women’s Health Medical Director. In this role, she provides leadership at the facility, service line, and clinical levels, helping to shape policy, improve care delivery, and advance gender-specific services across the system. She also serves as the Whole Health Integration Champion, supporting initiatives that promote Veteran well-being through personalized, values-driven care.

Dr. Corrado is actively involved in medical education and program development, including efforts to expand gender-specific and trauma-informed care training for internal medicine trainees. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes listening—to both patients and learners—and fostering a collaborative, respectful environment where trainees are empowered to take an active role in their clinical and professional development.
