Dr. Sofía B. Vivoni Corominas is a consult-liaison psychiatrist and Instructor Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. Dr. Vivoni Corominas received her MD from the University of Puerto Rico, School of Medicine. She completed her adult psychiatry residency at Boston Medical Center and Consult-Liaison Fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She currently serves as an attending psychiatrist at Boston Center for Refugee Health & Human Rights and within the consult-liaison service at Boston Medical Center. Her interests include sociocultural psychiatry, refugee and immigration mental health, and trauma-related disorders.
