I attended medical school at the University of California, San Francisco. From there, I started my residency program at the University of California, Los Angeles, and subsequently finished my program at the University of Utah when I got married. Salt Lake City and its surroundings are beautiful! I practiced in Syracuse, New York, and then spent two years at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta studying public health and epidemiology. After two more years in clinical practice in New York, I joined a private practice where I had many lovely patients throughout my 3 ½ years there.

I believe developing and maintaining good health can be achieved through basic care of your self: eating healthy foods, staying active, and taking care of your mental health. Visiting your health care provider regularly can help you stay on top of basic recommended screening exams, which can prevent some conditions or detect some conditions in their very early stages.
