Dr. Banerjee a Post Doctoral Associate with 5 years of experience working in the field of molecular virology, host-pathogen interaction, and development of host-directed antivirals utilizing skills comprising of various biochemical, cell-based, and analytical assays with strong data analysis and troubleshooting skills.

My Doctoral work includes understanding and elucidating the cellular pathways involved in homeostasis and responsible for different pathophysiological conditions with a keen interest in the role of host long non-coding RNA in modulating viral infection that leads to a cell death pathway known as ferroptosis. Also, screening of host lncRNAs as biomarker for enteric virus infection from patient stool samples.

Effective in leading multiple projects with excellent organizational and multi-tasking capabilities under tight timelines resulting in multiple publications, grant applications, and successful collaborations.
