In the 1980’s Sally served as the Executive Director of Fenway Community Health Center during a time when the organization was still in its most formative stage. During her tenure Fenway was granted both medical and mental health clinic licensure and a strategic plan was formed anchoring hope for overcoming the then emerging HIV crisis by forming a community based, LGBT-focused research program.

Sally is well known and widely respected as a consultant to many health care organizations not only in the greater Boston area but regionally and nationally. She has also served on the boards and in their leadership roles of several area non-profit educational, health and social service organizations.

Sally also served in the Commissioner’s office of the Boston Department of Health & Hospitals and Assistant Director for Ambulatory Reimbursement for the then Mass. Medicaid Program now called Mass Health.

Sally has been an Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor in Health Law, Policy and Management at the Boston University School of Public Health since 1993. She holds a BA in Psychology and Education from Whittier College, a M.Ed. in Counseling from Boston University School of Education and MPH from Boston University School of Public Health.
