Dr. Langwerden is a Postdoctoral Associate at the Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders (CARD) at the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Boston University. He holds a doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition, and Behaviour at the Radboud University Nijmegen in the Netherlands, which he completed while being engaged in public health and health disparities research Florida International University. His scientific interests are within 1) psychopathology classification and assessment, including dimensional approaches to assessment, 2) assessment of systematic and environmental assessments of mental health disparities, and 3) addressing disparities through dissemination and implementation of equitable interventions.
