Dr. Farsai has practiced restorative dentistry on the North Shore of Boston since 1997 and has owned his private practice since 2007. Since his graduation from dental school, Dr. Farsai has been with Boston University, first as an Assistant Professor, then Associate Professor and now Clinical Professor. He has authored dozens of dental textbook chapters and articles, and teaches numerous courses. He remains active as an American Dental Association (ADA) member and in 2009 was asked to join the ADA Center for Evidence-Based Dentistry. There, he served as a critical review panelist. Additionally, he is on the Editorial Board of two international dental journals and a reviewer for over half a dozen dental journals..
