I am a general internist practicing both inpatient and outpatient medicine at Boston Medical Center. I am interested in the implementation and dissemination of programs to address inequities in access to healthcare and health outcome in under-resourced settings, both domestically and globally.
My research experiences span three continents: I coordinated an interdisciplinary sanitation project in rural Benin as an undergraduate student; as a medical student I contributed to occupational health research for healthcare workers in the Gambia and completed a clinical rotation in Senegal; as a public health student, I examined the root causes of gun violence in West Baltimore and composed a white paper with a multidisciplinary team at my graduate school and studied a family-centered program addressing social determinants of health in Brazil as it was being adapted for implementation in Baltimore.

As an early career attending, I can help undergraduate/graduate/medical students or residents navigate the challenges and excitement of being a partner and parent during training.
As a person of faith, I am also happy to support any trainee in growing their spiritual identity as they navigate studying and career planning.
