Meredith W. Miller, MD, PhD is a board-certified anesthesiologist and intensivist at Veterans Affairs Boston Healthcare System and clinical Adjunct Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine, Boston, MA, USA. Dr. Miller has a strong interest in patient safety and quality improvement. Locally, she serves as a member of the VA hospital-wide Peer Review Committee and as departmental director of Morbidity and Mortality Case Conference Series. She has initiated a department-wide adverse event data collection system and overseen several quality improvement projects. Since 2017, she has been course director of the weekly Anesthesia Grand Rounds at the VA and responsible for recruiting a variety of diverse and educational speakers for the department.

She is actively involved in the International Anesthesia Research Society as a member and as an invited speaker at the upcoming 2026 annual meeting.

Clinically, Dr. Miller has a particular interest in anesthesia for major peripheral vascular disease and thoracic anesthesia.
