Maggie Jones is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine.

Maggie received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Oregon. While there, she competed at the Division I level in track and cross country. After this, she completed a post-baccalaureate research training program in neuroscience for one year at the National Institutes of Health in Baltimore, MD before beginning medical school at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. Maggie is a recent graduate of the Boston Combined Residency Program in Pediatrics. During residency, her main academic area of interest was exploring novel ways to address problematic screen media use in the primary care setting.

Clinically, Maggie cares for newborn babies in the Boston Medical Center Main Campus Mother-Baby Postpartum Unit. Maggie is also currently an Instructor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and provides primary care services to patients at Boston Children’s Hospital. Her interests include breastfeeding medicine and primary care considerations for high-risk newborns.
