Louis M. Adler, M.D., is a consulting orthopaedic surgeon at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Springfield, an active staff member at Baystate Medical Center, and is affiliated with New England Orthopedic Surgeons. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine.

Dr. Adler received his undergraduate degree in molecular biology from Princeton University and earned a medical degree from Cornell University Medical College. Dr. Adler completed both an internship in general surgery and residency in orthopaedic surgery at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and a fellowship in hand surgery from Philadelphia Hand Surgery.

Areas of special interest to Dr. Adler include hand, wrist and elbow surgery, and wrist arthroscopy.

Dr. Adler is a member of the Jefferson Hand Club, the American Society Surgery of the Hand and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
