Leila Rosenthal's, CDT, fascination with dentistry started in 1974, when she broke two teeth within two weeks of each other and was referred to a graduate student at BUGSDM for crowns by her cousin, the late Dr. Henry M. Goldman. She was fascinated by the work taking place at BUGSDM and after discussing it with friends and relatives, she decided that she would like to make a career out of making teeth instead of sculptures.

She started her training at BUGSDM in September of 1974 and has been here ever since. Rosenthal loves the creative problem solving aspect of being a dental technician and she also loves working with students. She has spent over 30 years working as a Certified Dental Technician and currently serves as a Clinical Professor of General Dentistry.
