Laura Welsh, MD is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Boston University School of Medicine. She joined the BU faculty after completing a teaching scholar program at the University of Washington, where she also completed a fellowship in medical education research and was an attending and staff physician at hospitals in the area. For her post medical school training, she received scholarships from the Harvard Macy Institute, where she was on the journal club organizing committee and resident chair of the curriculum steering committee. Dr. Welsh is a member of the following societies: the American College of Emergency Physicians, the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine, the Emergency Medicine Residents Association, and the Individualized Interactive Instruction Task Force.
