MD, Wake Forest University

As a pediatrician, I enjoy partnering with families to provide the best care possible for their children. As a parent myself, I understand the many joys and challenges that can come from being a parent. I hope to be a source of education and guidance for my patients and their family.

I grew up in Macon, GA and I am a graduate of Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, AL. I graduated from Wake Forest University School of Medicine in 2005. I completed my pediatric residency at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford University Medical Center. After residency, I had the privilege to serve as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the division of General Pediatrics at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, OR, for three years. I joined Kaiser Permanente in Santa Clara in 2012.

My interests include health education, community outreach, diversity in medicine and mentoring. I am a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
