Dr. Khansa Ahmad completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Illinois, Advocate Christ Medical Center. She then pursued a two-year preventive and imaging cardiovascular fellowship, general cardiovascular and interventional cardiology fellowships at Brown University, followed by a Structural and Endovascular fellowship at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center. Throughout her years of training, she has authored numerous publications on health disparities and clinical outcomes and contributed to book chapters. She serves on the editorial boards of three medical journals and regularly reviews manuscripts for over a dozen others. She is passionate about medical education, remaining involved in mentoring medical students, residents, cardiology fellows, and advanced practitioners.
