Justin McCummings has over 12 years of combined experience in recruitment, diversity and inclusion, career coaching, and teaching in the higher education and healthcare industries. Currently he is the Medical Staff Recruitment Manager at Boston Medical Center, where he directs and executes the hospital’s strategic plan for the recruitment and retention of under-represented minority post graduate medical trainees and faculty.
Prior to coming to Boston Medical Center, Justin spent five years at Boston University School of Management’s Feld Career Center where his most recent role was as the Associate Director of Undergraduate Career Services. During his tenure at BU, Justin led the development and implementation of career development services and programs for over 2,000 undergraduate business students. In addition, he was an appointed Lecturer in the Organizational Development Department at Boston University School of Management. Justin has been quoted in several articles and appeared on local television to discuss topics around networking and career development. Furthermore, Justin has held positions as an admissions professional at several institutions of higher education within the New England area.
Justin received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Stonehill College and a Master in Education from Cambridge College.
