Dr. Julia Browne is the Director of Research of the BMC Wellness and Recovery After Psychosis (WRAP) Program and an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry. She received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, completed her clinical internship at Yale University School of Medicine, and completed postdoctoral fellowships in early psychosis at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School and in geriatrics at the Geriatric Research, Education and Clinical Center (GRECC) at the Durham VA Healthcare System. Her research program is focused on developing and evaluating health-promoting interventions (e.g., exercise) to improve the health of young, middle-aged and older adults with psychosis. Committed to clinical care and training, she provides individual and family treatment to individuals with psychosis in BMC's WRAP Program and is the Director of CBT Training for the BMC/BU Psychiatry Residency Program.
