Erica Mintzer is a Family Physician at Codman Square Health Center, where she practices primary care and precepts residents. Her clinical interests include group medical visits, reproductive health, and care for the Hispanic community. She is currently a Kraft Practitioner in Community Health, which enables her to her to take a community-based approach to tackling obesity and associated chronic diseases in the Codman Square community. She currently practices obstetrics, including supervising residents, at Boston Medical Center. Dr. Mintzer graduated from Boston University Family Medicine Residency in 2012 and Yale School of Medicine in 2009. Her medical school thesis evaluated the health impacts of a garden-based curriculum at a charter public high school. Prior to medical school, she was a Research Analyst at Tellus Institute, an environmental research and policy firm. She graduated from Dartmouth College in 2002, where she majored in Latin American Literature. In her free time, Dr. Mintzer enjoys hiking, biking, and spending time with her husband and young son.
