I am a physician-scientist with broad-based training in pediatric, infectious diseases, public health, and pharmacology and have focused my translation research program on three areas: 1) Effect of antiretroviral therapy on mitochondrial function; 2) Laboratory simulation of transmission dynamics of hepatitis C virus among injection drug users, and 3) Global pediatric HIV treatment outcomes.
