Dr. Kashtwari graduated from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India in 2003 with a B.D.S. and worked in private practice before continuing her education the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she also served as a teaching assistant for four years, completed a Clinical Research and Faculty Development Fellowship in 2011 and earned her M.S. in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology in 2014. She became a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology in 2015. Dr. Kashtwari is also a site visitor for Advanced Education in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology for the Commission on Dental Accreditation.

In addition to ADEA, she is a member of ADA, FDA, AAOMR and RSNA. She represents the College on the Human Use of Radioisotopes and Radiation committee, serves on the College’s Advanced Education Faculty Committee, is an ex officio of Clinical Affairs and Quality Assurance committee and Chair of the subcommittee for Radiation Safety and Quality Assurance. She is also member of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Postdoctoral Education and Awards Committees. Dr. Kashtwari is heavily involved in predoctoral and graduate dental education as Course Director of all predoctoral radiology courses at UF COD and mentors up to 12 residents in the postdoctoral program and participates in clinical research and the Radiology Faculty Practice.
