Dr. Deeba Kashtwari, a Clinical Associate Professor and the inaugural Chair of the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and an alumna of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she earned her Master of Science (MS) in Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology and completed a fellowship in clinical research. Additionally, she is a graduate of the prestigious ADEA Leadership Institute and a Fellow of the International College of Dentists. She also serves as a site visitor for the Commission on Dental Accreditation for advanced education in Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology.

In addition to ADEA, she is a member of several professional organizations such as ADA, AAOMR, ASHNR and IADMFR. She serves on multiple committees. She is currently an executive committee member on the ADEA leadership alumni Board.
With over 14 years of experience in academia, Dr. Kashtwari has held various leadership roles, including Division Director and Residency Program Director. She has been deeply involved in pre- and postdoctoral education, as well as patient care, contributing significantly to the field through clinical research and by delivering continuing education courses nationally and internationally.
