David Collins is a health economist with over 30 years of experience in international health and development projects, including working as resident health finance adviser to the Ministries of Health of Kenya and South Africa. He was previously with the British Save the Children and Management Sciences for Health and is now an independent consultant. He provides technical assistance and training to developing countries in all areas of health care finance including the cost modeling of hospital, health center and community service packages and vertical programs, such as TB.
