Dr. Wu's area of interest is in primary care transformation and the innovation, implementation, and scale up of chronic care delivery systems for vulnerable populations, both globally and domestically. She also focuses on the integration of IT systems and continuous quality improvement in population management, and creating models for combining primary care practice and global health work. She previously worked to lead the primary care transformation efforts at the main academic primary care clinic at Brigham and Women's Hospital and completed a faculty Innovation Fellowship with the Harvard Medical School Center for Primary Care. She also worked with Partners in Health in Rwanda as a district clinical advisor, working with the local leadership on quality improvement, clinical training, and developing a chronic care delivery model. Prior to that, she was based with the Chinese Center for Disease Control and National Center of HIV/AIDS Treatment and Care working on HIV adherence in intravenous drug users.
