Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility

11/2021-6/2023
As a member of the Survivorship Committee, I helped develop clinical protocols and procedures for patients who underwent and are currently receiving cancer-directed therapies. The committee is made up of a diverse group of individuals including administrators, social workers, nurses, PAs and MDs. We aim to provide understanding and support to the patient and their loved ones for all the myriad effects which come with the diagnosis of cancer – considering each patient’s autonomy, socioeconomic status, educational status, lived experiences, and personal perspectives.
