Dr. Wickremasinghe received undergraduate degrees in Biology and Psychology from the University of Missouri, Columbia. She received her Medical Degree from the University of Missouri, Columbia in 2007, and completed a residency in Pediatrics at the Mayo Clinic. She then went on to complete a fellowship in Neonatology at the University of California, San Francisco. She joined Kaiser Permanente in 2013.

Dr. Wickremasinghe's medical interests include neonatal hyperbilirubinemia and neurodevelopmental outcomes after prematurity.
