I was born and raised in Tehran, Iran. I received my Medical Degree from Tehran University, Iran in 1995 and practiced medicine for two years as primary care physician. In 1997, I moved to United States and was in the field of medical research for 4 years at University of New Mexico, Albuquerque and University of Washington, Seattle. I started my surgical training at the University of Washington, Seattle and completed my training at the University of Colorado, Denver.

My medical interests include Colorectal surgery, Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery, Advanced Minimally Invasive (Laparoscopic) Surgery of intestine, hernia and gallbladder, Breast Surgery for benign and malignant diseases and many other aspect of general surgery.
