Dr. Amanda Macone is a Neurologist at Boston Medical Center and an Instructor of Neurology at Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Macone obtained a bachelors in physiology and neurobiology and a minor in molecular cell biology at the University of Connecticut. She then pursued a post-baccalaureate in interdepartmental medical science at Drexel University School of Medicine, and received her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in neurology at Boston Medical Center, and served as a Chief Resident during her final year. Dr. Macone then pursued a fellowship in headache medicine at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, where she served as an Assistant Editor for the journal of Headache. She is a member of the Headache Cooperative of New England, the American Headache Society and the American Academy of Neurology. Dr. Macone has a special interest in migraine, women's health and trigeminal autonomic cephalalgias.
