I’m a synthetic biologist and biomolecular engineer passionate about understanding and engineering biology from molecular mechanisms to cellular systems. My work spans multiple disciplines, with strong expertise in nucleic acid engineering, protein design, and synthetic biology. As an NSF Graduate Research Fellow and now a postdoctoral researcher, I’ve developed novel mRNA circuits using custom, modular allosteric regulatory proteins, as well as conditionally stable RNA-binding proteins for live-cell imaging. I’ve co-authored multiple publications and patents, mentored emerging scientists, and presented research at leading conferences. I’m especially motivated by building tools that bridge molecular design and cellular function, with the potential to advance both fundamental discovery and therapeutic innovation.
