Aliza Stern, MMSc, PA-C is the Director of Didactic Education and the Associate Program Director of the Physician Assistant (PA) Program at the Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine. She joined the PA program in 2016.
She currently sits on the Reconsideration Panel for the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA), the national accrediting body for PA programs in the United States. She is also a site visitor for the ARC-PA. Her interests and scholarship focus on PA education and curriculum, as well as interprofessional education and social determinants of health. With a team from Cambridge Health Alliance she established a longitudinal integrated clerkship for PA students. She is currently working with colleagues developing a virtual reality learning environment to teach interprofessional students about social determinants of health.
Ms. Stern practices dermatology with Boston University Dermatology, seeing patients at Dorchester House Community Health Center.
