Dr. Timothy Osborn obtained a Doctor of Dental Science degree (DDS) from the University of Minnesota, and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery & Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the Oregon Health and Science University. During his resident training, he received an award for Best Surgical Resident by the Graduate Medical Education Department. He has held many leadership positions at local, regional, and national levels during his education. These include the positions of Vice-President of the American Student Dental Association in 2003-04 and District Representative of the Resident Organization of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons from 2004-2006.

Dr. Osborn has contributed to the literature with numerous book chapters and journal articles and won an award for most outstanding article published in the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2009. He is a peer reviewer for many professional journals. His clinical practice includes the full scope of facial cosmetic surgery and he also specializes in advanced techniques for the surgical management of facial pain and migraines. His other surgical interests include the surgical management of patients with benign and malignant head and neck pathology, obstructive sleep apnea, maxillofacial trauma, and reconstructive surgery.
