Molecular & Cell Biology

Dr. Shiv V Singh is a Research Scientist at Whitaker Cardiology Institute, Faculty of Medicine, Boston University. Dr. Singh is working on the translational approaches for minimizing the bone marrow anomalies especially by targeting Megakaryocytes associated mutations and mechano-sensation. His research is focused for identification of novel pathways during MKs development mainly by targeting Piezo 1 calcium dependent channel. Dr. Singh also work at HUJI, Israel as a Post Doctoral Fellow where his research was focused for the identification of novel insights in Bipolar Disorder disease pathogenesis. Dr Singh received his PhD from JNU, Delhi, India and CSIR-Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CIMAP), INDIA.
