Renu Negi grew up in India. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Life Sciences from Kumaun University, Nainital, Uttarakhand, India. She was awarded a Ph.D. in Neurosciences from the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR) at CSIR-Indian Institute of Toxicology Research, Lucknow, India. Her doctoral research focused on stem cell-derived brain models to advance the understanding of neurological disorders. After completing her Ph.D., Dr. Negi worked as a Research Associate at Tropical Animal Genetics Private Limited in Faridabad, Haryana, for one year, where she contributed to in vitro embryo development using stem cells. Currently, she is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the TCW Lab, where she explores APOE-focused therapeutic approaches, particularly investigating the role of microglia in Alzheimer’s disease. Beyond her research, Dr. Negi enjoys dancing, listening to music, reading, and exploring nature.
