Emma Katz, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist and the oncology psychologist for VA Boston, working with the Behavioral Medicine Clinic. She earned her doctorate from West Virginia University, completed her pre-doctoral internship at VA Tampa, and her post-doctoral fellowship training at VA Boston. Dr. Katz is embedded within the Hematology-Oncology Clinic as the first psychologist within VA Boston in this role; helping to develop this clinical program and providing evidence-based assessments, interventions, and education for Veterans with cancer and Veteran cancer survivors including those with new diagnoses, during treatment and recovery, and at remission. Her research interests include patient-provider trust, whole health interventions, and validation of psychological measures with underrepresented patient populations.
