My passion for addressing the world-wide inequalities in health has taken me from Mexico and Ecuador to Slovakia and South Africa. I believe the key to changing the international health care dynamic is affordable and sustainable diagnostics and treatment modalities. Having experienced the devastation from an uncle's depression and suicide, I also seek to better understand their modifiable risk factors and links to infectious disease.
